So far, there are a lot of crazy swings today. After starting at 76.9 kg, I ate more than usual and had an unexpectedly high weight gain to 78.6 kg. That is a full 1.7 kg and far more than usual. Maybe I ate more than usual, but there could be other factors at play. For example, I had such a great weight loss the past 2 days that my body may be trying to retain some weight as kind of countermeasure. I’m just guessing on that. But that kind of correction was common in my weight tracking during Pentamize full weight-loss mode.
As bad as the day started, I lost a lot of weight during my 90-minute run. I dropped back down to 77.1 kg, which was a solid loss of 1.5 kg. That was about average even during the summer. And I immediately went to the bathroom and dropped a smidgen more to 77.0 kg.
Still, at this point during the day, it was only 5:30 in the evening. So the goal was to have only one more meal and to keep it pretty small. I also will need some water but should largely avoid juice. The juice that I drank earlier probably contributed to the weight gain.
I had to sacrifice pretty hard the rest of the day. After eating a croissant (not a good food choice, but focusing on the amount of food more than the type), some grapes, and a little bit of some other stuff, I cut myself off from eating the rest of the day. After that last meal, I was at about 77.7 kg. This already put me in some jeopardy of gaining a little weight on the day. But there was still a chance to lose a little.
Actually, I ended up losing .3 kg, which was not expected. My weight dropped to 76.6 kg by morning. So that is now 3 days in a row of losing a substantial amount of weight during this post-Christmas recovery period. Based on my tracking record, it’s hard to lose weight 4 days in a row. But since I am in a natural recovery from gross overeating over Christmas, I think it will be possible to lose weight yet again on Day 102 and make it 4 days in a row.
